Brandon Sheppard follows World of Outlaws for four-day swing; Top-3 outing at Path Valley

Kicking off a very busy weekend with the World of Outlaw Case Late Model Series, Brandon Sheppard unloaded the Sheppard-Riggs Racing No. B5 at Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Ohio) for the first stop of the trip.

Charging sixth-to-third in his heat race, Sheppard started the 40-lap feature from 12th-place and slipped back to 17th when the checkered flag flew.

Friday's $15,000-to-win Billy Winn Classic at Bedford (Pa.) Speedway was rained out.

With a weekend-high car count at Marion Center (Pa.) Speedway on Saturday, Brandon stopped the clock third-fastest in his group before dominating his heat race. Redrawing the sixth-starting position for the $15,000-to-win main event, Sheppard remained inside the Top-10 and recorded an eighth-place run.

Finding the most speed on Sunday night at Path Valley Speedway Park (Spring Run, Pa.), Sheppard started fifth and wound up on the podium in third for the $10,000-to-win showdown. He trailed Bobby Pierce and Mason Ziegler while Ryan Gustin and Dennis Erb Jr. completed the Top-5.

Sheppard is currently second in the World of Outlaws point standings.
